How does AIVO actually work?
AIVO uses advanced AI to answer your business calls naturally. You train it with your business info - menus, services, pricing, policies, hours. When a call comes in, AIVO handles it like a knowledgeable receptionist: answering questions, booking appointments, taking messages, and routing urgent calls to you.
How long does setup take?
Most businesses are up and running within 30 minutes. Create your account, add your business details and knowledge base articles, and you are live. No technical skills or coding required.
Will callers know they are talking to an AI?
AIVO uses natural, human-like speech with contextual understanding. Many callers do not realize it is AI. You can customize the voice, greeting, and personality to match your brand.
What languages does AIVO speak?
AIVO currently supports English and Spanish. It can detect which language a caller is using and switch automatically mid-conversation. More languages coming soon.
How do my customers reach the AI?
We add a 'Call Now' button to your website. Customers click it and talk to your AI assistant directly from their browser - no phone number needed, no app to download. Works on any device with a microphone.
What happens if AIVO cannot answer a question?
AIVO gracefully transfers the call to you or your team. You set the rules - transfer during business hours, take a message after hours, or route urgent matters to your cell anytime.

Billing

Is there a free trial?
Yes! Every plan comes with a 14-day free trial with full features. No credit card required. Set up your AI assistant and see it handle real calls before you commit.
Can I change my plan later?
Absolutely. You can upgrade at any time and the change takes effect immediately (prorated). Downgrades take effect at the end of your billing period.
What happens if I exceed my plan limits?
You will be charged overage rates: $1.50 BZD per additional call and $0.15 BZD per additional minute. We will send you alerts when you are approaching your limits so you can upgrade if needed.

Using AIVO

How do I update my knowledge base?
Go to Knowledge Base in your dashboard, click on any article to edit it, or create new ones. After making changes, click 'Retrain AI' and your assistant will use the updated information immediately.
Can AIVO book appointments?
Yes! AIVO can schedule appointments based on your availability, send confirmation messages, handle rescheduling, and sync with Google Calendar. Set up your schedule in the Appointments section of your dashboard.
Does AIVO send SMS messages?
On the Professional plan and above, AIVO can send automated SMS follow-ups after calls - appointment confirmations, directions, links, and custom messages you define.

Technical

How do I add the call button to my website?
Go to Settings > Widget in your dashboard, copy the embed code, and paste it into your website before the closing </body> tag. You can customize the button's color and position.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All calls are encrypted in transit. Call recordings and transcripts are stored securely and only accessible to your account. We never sell or share your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Does AIVO work on mobile?
The call widget works on any device with a modern browser and microphone - smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktops. No app installation needed.
Can I use AIVO with my existing phone number?
Yes! You can forward your existing business number to AIVO, or use a new number we provide. Contact our team for number porting assistance.
