Refund Policy

1. Overview

AIVO Technologies (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to fair and transparent billing. This policy explains how refunds are handled for AIVO Connect and AIVO AI subscription services.

All amounts are in Belize Dollars (BZD) unless stated otherwise. The fixed exchange rate of 1 USD = 2 BZD applies to all conversions.

2. Eligibility

You may be eligible for a refund if:

  • You are on a paid plan (Starter, Growth, Professional, or Enterprise).
  • You cancel your subscription before the end of your current billing period.
  • There are unused days remaining in your billing period.
  • Your account is in good standing and has not been terminated for violations of our Terms of Service.

Free plan users are not eligible for refunds as no charges are incurred.

3. Prorated Refunds

When you cancel mid-billing cycle, we calculate a prorated refund based on the unused portion of your subscription:

Refund = (Plan Price / Total Days) x Unused Days

For example, if you are on the Starter plan ($148 BZD/month) and cancel 10 days into a 30-day billing period, your refund would be:

($148 / 30) x 20 = $98.67 BZD

Prorated refunds are rounded to the nearest cent.

4. Full Refunds

Full refunds of the monthly plan price may be issued at our discretion in cases such as:

  • Service outages exceeding the SLA guarantee.
  • Billing errors where you were charged incorrectly.
  • Cancellation within 48 hours of initial subscription (first-time subscribers only).

5. Custom Refunds

In exceptional circumstances, our team may issue a custom refund amount. These are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and may apply to:

  • Partial service disruptions that affected your usage.
  • Goodwill credits for long-standing customers.
  • Negotiated settlements for disputed charges.

6. How Refunds Are Credited

Refunds are credited to your AIVO account balance. This balance can be used towards future subscription payments, add-on packs, and overage charges.

If you require a cash refund (returned to your original payment method), please contact our team. Cash refunds are processed manually via bank transfer and may take 5-10 business days.

7. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refund:

  • Used call minutes and overage charges already incurred.
  • Add-on packs that have been partially or fully consumed.
  • Setup fees or one-time configuration charges.
  • Accounts terminated for Terms of Service violations.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing dashboard. Upon cancellation:

  • Your service continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • A prorated refund is credited to your account balance.
  • Your account reverts to the Free plan after the period ends.
  • Your data is retained for 30 days after downgrade, then permanently deleted.

9. Processing Timeframes

Balance credits: Processed immediately upon approval. Your updated balance is reflected in your dashboard within minutes.

Cash refunds (bank transfer): Processed within 5-10 business days after approval. Availability depends on your bank.

Refund requests are typically reviewed within 1-2 business days.
